Last night I was lying in bed listening to the wind and rain battering my window, I was thinking about how horrible it would be to be homeless in that sort of weather, or indeed any sort of weather really and I felt very blessed and grateful to be safe and warm and that my friends and family were also safe and warm.
I can’t even begin to imagine what it must be like for all of the people that have been so badly affected by Hurricane Irma, Jose or Katia recently and for what it’s worth I’d like to send out all of my love and best wishes to the victims of those dreadful events.
I’m going to put a link at the end of this paragraph to the Red Cross page so that if you’d like to donate to help victims of the hurricanes then you can do. Click here to visit the Red Cross site.
I think in general but especially at times like this there is nothing more important to be grateful for than the safety of ourselves and our loved ones.
