This post is the latest post of my new poetry series that still doesn’t have a name. It is a series in which I will be sharing poetry from my archives that I have never shared before.
I have had a lot of fun reading through them all and reminiscing and I thought that it might be fun to share them and reminisce with you all!
The poem that I want to share today is called In The Garden
In the stillness I felt you near your presence all around
I felt close to you again once more
What was this thing I had witnessed today?
It felt like a connection between our worlds
Was that you out there with me in the garden?
I wrote this poem about a strange experience I had in the back garden at my Dad’s house, it was not long after a member of our family had died, the whole place seemed to fall completely silent and it just felt like somebody was there even though I was completely by myself, it was very odd.
It still gives me chills just thinking about it!
