In light of what happened over the weekend in Paris it didn’t feel right to be posting a regular Music Monday post today.
I’m heartbroken by the attacks in Paris, it’s devastating to see, part of my family live in France as well as a number of my friends and I know people who were directly affected by the attacks.
I didn’t want to not post at all today because I’ve already had my regular two days off over the weekend so instead I wanted to share with you a playlist I’ve made.
I put this playlist together over the weekend based on my Spotify history for this weekend. It really reflects my feelings about what has happened in Paris and I guess just shows where my head was at this weekend.
I skip around Spotify a lot, especially when I’m thinking about things, it’s almost a mindless process, I don’t really think about it I just search and queue, search and queue. When I was closing Spotify down I noticed how much my song history reflected my feelings and I swept them all into a playlist.
You might enjoy this playlist, you might not. It’s just my playlist of songs that I played whilst I was processing the events that had happened in Paris.
I hope that wherever you are in the world you are safe and well and if you have been affected in anyway by the events in Paris then I’m sending lots of love and light your way, I hope that you can stay strong and if you can’t stay strong that I hope that you’re surrounded by a support network of people who can help keep you strong.
I love you all so much.
If this weekend has taught me anything it is that life is short and you really never can know when your time is up, make sure you tell the people you love that you love them and just cherish every moment with them because you don’t know when will be your last.
Thank you so much for reading this post, regular Music Monday posts will continue next Monday.
Please stay safe wherever you are, be kind and love one another.
