In this post I’m going to be answering question 4 from the 1987 Book of Questions by Gregory Stock PH.D!
Let’s get straight to it!
If you could spend one year in perfect happiness but afterward would remember nothing of the experience would you do so? If not why not?
No, I wouldn’t.
Life is too short to be wasting a year like that, I mean what’s the point in having a year of perfect happiness if you’re not going to remember it? It’s a complete waste of a year.
Also having watched Alzheimer’s steal all of my Grandad’s memories I’ve learnt how important it is to cherish memories whilst you can because you don’t know if one day you’ll develop Alzheimer’s or another disease / condition that would cause you to lose your memories so cherish them whilst you can.
I’d rather make my own year of perfect happiness instead of taking a handout that’s going to cause me to forget it all after it’s done.
That’s just my opinion though, what would you do? Let me know in the comments below, on Twitter @MissCharlotteEm or on any of my other social media sites which you can find by clicking here!
