Richard Digance Interview – Amazing Stories From His 50 Years On The Road!

Hello Everyone!

This post is slightly different to my normal posts in that the main part of this post is audio only…

This post contains the interview I did with Richard Digance a few months ago, the interview is 1 hour and 22 minutes long and the transcript is over 13,000 words long…

Richard-Digance, And-Then-Charlotte-Said..., Richard-Digance-Interview,

The interview contains stories from across the last 50 years of his career, talk of his first and current guitar as well as anecdotes about his times with Joni Mitchell, Arlo Guthrie, John Martyn, David Bowie & more!

I’ve been struggling to find the right places to slice the interview into smaller chunks so that I can post it in a series of posts for you all to read but wherever I slice it doesn’t feel right because the whole interview just flows so naturally as one complete thing so rather than give you one 13,000 word post to read I’m just going to put a SoundCloud player with all of the interview in for you to listen to completely free of charge here.

I had so much fun doing this interview and I have really enjoyed working with Richard in the months since the interview and indeed I’ll tell you more about that in another blog post later on this week!

If you would prefer to read the transcript of this interview then you’re more than welcome to drop me an email ( ) and I’ll send you one over.

Richard is currently on tour celebrating the 50th Anniversary of his career, if you would like to see him in concert then I’ll put his remaining tour dates below. I highly recommend that you do go and see him if you’re able to, he’s a brilliant performer and you’re guaranteed a fantastic show!

If you’d like to find out more about Richard then I also recommend checking out his brand new book “50 Years On The Road” which you can find exclusively in the Kindle Store by clicking here!
