As we remember all of the people affected by the London bombings that took place 12 years ago today I want to share with you a song and story by Terry Hiscock a victim of the London bombings.
My thoughts are with the families and friends of everybody affected by the attack on July 7th 2005 and all of the terrible attacks that have taken place since.
I want to also share a passage from Laurence Binyon’s Ode Of Rememberance, I know it is typically used in reference to fallen troops but I think it is just as relevant today.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
It’s probably a little cliched to say but make the most of every minute because you never know what’s around the corner.
