This post is the latest post of my new poetry series that still doesn’t have a name. It is a series in which I will be sharing poetry that I have recently found in my archives that I have never shared before!
I have had a lot of fun reading through them all and reminiscing and I thought that it might be fun to share them and reminisce with you all!
The poem that I want to share today is called What’s The Worst That Could Happen?
Maybe I should say nothing
And live my life wondering
What if I had told him so?
Would it be different?
Or maybe I should tell him so
Maybe we could be happy,
Maybe if I tell him though
He won’t feel the same,
Maybe this and maybe that
It’s no use wondering
Just go for it and tell him so
What’s the worst that could happen?
I was so happy when I found this poem in my archives, I can still remember writing it way back in 2010! My friend would call me pretty much every day and talk for hours about this guy she liked and how she didn’t know whether to tell him how she felt or not… being the supportive friend that I was rather than pay attention to her call I wrote this poem!
In the end, she didn’t end up telling him, but who knows what would have happened if she did!
