This post is part of my TV Tuesday series, a series in which I’ll be blogging about various TV shows on a Tuesday, it’s all very complex.
If you can’t tell from the title; this post is going to be about the final set of the first auditions which aired on Saturday 19th September 2015 on ITV.
If you didn’t know, the reason I’m blogging about the X Factor is because I had over 10,000 requests to do so and occasionally I give in to peer pressure…
I’m just going to put it out there that I really didn’t enjoy this episode, I think I spent the majority of the time going “ughhhhhhhhhhhh.” All of the other episodes that have aired so far have been full of really talented people and they’ve been a joy to watch but there was just something not right with this episode, I feel like they saved most of the mediocre and talentless people until last.
That being said I’m only going to be picking one from each of my categories to blog about today because nobody really stood out to me.
If you’ve not seen any of my previous X Factor posts I’ve made three categories that I’ve been using to describe the auditions, good act through, bad act through and rejected.
Let’s take a look at some of the acts then…
Good Act Through:
The Shures – Love Me Like You Do – Oh my goodness these guys were just the cutest! They weren’t the best singers that have been on the show, they could sing really well but there’s been better it doesn’t matter though because they just radiated love and it was just so lovely to watch them perform! I can’t wait to see what they do next! I’ll put their performance here so you can watch it and get in on the love!
Bad Act Through
Andy Taylor – This guy was an ice cream man, he brought ice cream for the judges which was cute, the most entertaining part of his audition was watching the judges have an ice cream fight. I don’t know if it was just my speakers but to me it sounded like he was shouting more than he was singing…
I’m not even going to say anything about any of the acts that were rejected, these were just genuinely terrible performances, not the funny kind of terrible just, terrible.
Like I said earlier it seemed like they’d saved all of the terrible auditions for this show…
